"Let Freedom Ring"

Our great country is in disarray.
We, the United States of America, must bond together and pray.

Pray, for our women and men, who are being deployed;
Leaving behind their loved ones with sadness, not much joy.

A father leaving his baby daughter on a respirator
(Fighting for every breath that she takes),
A little boy, with leukemia, awaiting his first chemo treatment;
Praying this is the right decision our President will make.

Marines, Airforce, Navy, and Army will walk on foreign soil,
As their family's, back home, will live in fear and turmoil.

Lord, I pray no blood will be shed in vain,
No family be left behind in suffering and pain.

Send no body bags home, for loved ones to view,
For defending our right and honor ~ for me and for You.

Lord, You asked, when someone wrongs us, to turn the other cheek.
When they fly airplanes into our buildings and lives are lost,
How can we stand by with watchful eyes and be meek?

We must fight for what we believe.
Let it not be war.
Who knows what else might come our way?
Keep the enemy from sinning no more.

Our great nation is being threatened with bombs,
Killings, and many lies.
The only solace we have is on Your love to rely.

Let us do what is honorable and just,
Leaning and trusting in you "Lord" is a must.

Let freedom ring in our hearts and minds, once again,
As we Thank You for our life that transcends.

Give each of us the wisdom to do what is right.
Lead us anwebsegto greener pastures and show us the light.

So, onward Christian soldiers, marching on to war;
Fighting and killing is something we can't ignore.
Jesus, have mercy on us and be with us
As we face this battle once more.

Have You Forgotten
Darryl Worley

I hear people saying
We don’t need this war
But I say there’s some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground
We didn’t get to keep them by backing down
Now they say we don’t realize the mess we’re getting in
Before you start to preaching let me ask you this my friend

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
Too see your homeland under fire and her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry about Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

They took all the footage off my TV
They said it’s too disturbing for you and me
It’ll just breed anger, it’s what the experts say
If it was up to me I’d show it everyday
Some say this country’s just out looking for a fight
Well after 9-11 man I’d have to say that’s right

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
Too see your homeland under fire and her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry about Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

I’ve been there with the soldiers who’ve gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember just what they’re fighting for

Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Yeah some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
Yeah all those loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don’t you tell me not to worry about Bin Laden
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
Too see your homeland under fire and her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had people still inside going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry about Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten? Oh
Have you forgotten?
