Atheist/Agnostic/Theist?(& any subcategories):
I consider myself to be an atheist. But since there are multiple definitions for the relevant terms, different definition choices lead to different categorizations.
Atheist: I don't believe in the existence of a god or gods (according to all but the vaguest conceptions of "god", but see below), so I'm atheistic in the sense of not being theistic.
Agnostic: I can't prove that a god or gods does not exist (for example, if an all-powerful deity wished to remain unknown to us, it could exist without giving us any evidence of its existence), so I'm agnostic in the sense of not being absolutely certain that a humanly undetectable deity isn't hiding somewhere. I'm agnostic about leprechauns in the same sense, for similar reasons.
Theist: If you define God as "The entity that controls the universe" without any further stipulations, then a self-governing universe that works according to physical laws could qualify as God. In that case, I believe in God, although this god isn't going to reward me for believing in it, and there's no good reason for calling the universe "God" instead of just calling it the universe.

Hobbies/interests: chess, tennis, bowling, computer programming, reading, movies, evolution & memetics, philosophy, ...

Political position: Libertarian. I believe that every adult should have the right to make their own choices, however inadvisable those choices may be (as long as those choices don't directly infringe on the rights of
somebody else).

Favorite cheese: feta.

... animals: dogs, cats, some humans.

... books: Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Robert Pirsig); Godel, Escher, Bach (Douglas Hofstadter); V.A.L.I.S (Philip K. Dick); Dune (Frank Herbert); Bluebeard (Kurt Vonnegut).

... music: Radiohead; Led Zeppelin; Soul Coughing; Morrissey & The Smiths; Tori Amos.

What actress/actor would play you in the A/A Chat movie: Pauly Shore.

Ambitions: I'll be really generic here: To be doing something with my life that I care about (and that I'm not incompetent at). Also, to spend my life with people I care about and who care about me.

Turn-ons: getting things done well and on time without expecting perfection, people who treat others the way they deserve to be treated (not the same thing as being "nice" all the time), stories that require the reader to draw their own conclusions.

Turn-offs: obsessing over details to the point of paralysis and getting nothing done, people who mistreat others unless there's an imminent threat of reprisal, stories that underline and highlight the moral you're supposed to draw from them.

Proudest accomplishment: Hasn't happened yet (I hope).

What brightens my day: incandescent lightbulbs, occasional sunlight.

Never leave home without: house keys.

Rules to live by: There's no rulebook except the one you write for yourself, from experience, and its always going to be a work in progress.

If I were Queen/King of the world: I would stand on the prow of a majestic sailing vessel and repeatedly proclaim myself to be the king of the world.

Dream job: In the dream world, I am a continuity checker. My job is to note any contradictions or unexplained events that occur within each dream I process. Why the Dream Lord requires this of me, and what he does with the information, I'll never know.

Last word: "the"
