Mickey's PageHi! This is a page dedicated to our cat Mickey, since he is such an integral part of our lives. We picked him up one rainy night in January. I should have waited til spring to get a kitten but I couldn't wait. And so I combed the newpapers looking for a kitten. All that I saw was '5 month old kitten free to good home.' So I called the ad. There were 3 other people in front of me who had already left a message. But the lady couldn't reach those people, and said if we wanted to take him all we had to do was come meet him. So at 9pm in the middle of January hubby and I jumped in the car and flew down to Kirkland. Poor Mickey! He was staying in a small apartment with a lady, 2 kids, and 2 cats. What drew him to me was his soft soft fur, and the fact that he let the kids drag him around and he was so mellow. I knew that was the cat for us! And the rest is history. Mickey has been staying with us for the past year and a half. We've had our ups and downs with this cat! But everynight when we all go to bed and Mickey is snuggled in between hubby and I resting his little furry head in my arms, I know he was worth it!
