"AHHH!!" Illianna screamed. "YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!" Gwen laughed as she held the phone away from her ear. "I am so happy I think I'm gonna cry!!" Illie said.
"I know, isn't this exciting?!" Gwen said. Gwen and AJ were in their hotel room and Gwen was making a ton of calls.
''When is the date?" Illie asked.
"We haven't decided yet," Gwen said, "But it is after ya'lls wedding," Gwen said about Illianna and Anthony's wedding.
"Okay. Oh by the way, I need you to get fitted for your bridesmaid dress," Illie said since Gwen and AJ were in the wedding party.
"Okay and you are a bridesmaid in my wedding too," Gwen said. The girls chatted for a while then hung up. AJ laid next to her on their bed.
"You are going to make me the happiest man on earth," AJ said, kissing her.
"I thought I already did!!" Gwen laughed as they kissed again.
-----2 months later at Illie's wedding----
The first leg of the Boys US tour ended and Gwen and AJ were home in Florida getting ready for Illianna and Anthony's wedding. AJ was an usher and Gwen was a bridesmaid. Gwen walked down the stairs in her lavender bridesmaid dress and saw AJ fixing his tie. Gwen's heart melted. She loved seeing him in a tux.
"Hey sexy," he whistled.
"Look who's talking," Gwen said. They finally set a wedding date for August 30. They had four months till their wedding and Gwen was running around everyday making everything come together.
"All this wedding stuff is getting me in the mood," AJ smiled slyly at her. Gwen laughed and they kissed. The doorbell rang and AJ went to answer it and let Ashleigh and Nick in. Nick and Ashleigh were going to hand out programs at the wedding. Ashleigh moved in with AJ and Gwen about two weeks ago because it was pointless to by an apartment in Florida when she was planning on spending all her time with Nick anyways.
"What time do we have to be there?" Nick asked.
"AJ and I have to be at the church at 2:30," Gwen said.
"Okay, it's 2:00 now,'' Nick said.
"Lemme take a picture of you guys first," Ashleigh said, grabbing her camera. AJ and Gwen wrapped their arms around each other and Ashleigh took the picture.
"Ready?" AJ asked. Everyone said yes as they walked out to the car.
~~at the church~~
AJ and Gwen went their separate ways. Gwen went to join Illie and the rest of the bridesmaids while AJ went to Anthony and the ushers. Gwen knocked on the door and Leighanne answered.
"She's here!" Leighanne said, hugging her. "You look beautiful honey!"
"You too!" Gwen said. Leighanne was the only other bridesmaid Gwen knew. Illie was putting the finishing touches on her makeup
"But this is the real beauty!" Gwen said, hugging Illie. "You ready?" Gwen asked her. She nodded nervously.
"I think so," she replied. The wedding was starting at 3 so the girls got all their pictures taken together with the photographer before lining up.
''Okay, I need all the bridesmaids to find their partners!" the wedding coordinator called out. Gwen picked up her flowers and went to find AJ when Illie grabbed her hand.
"Gwen wait," Illie said. "I...I can't do this."
"What?!" Gwen cried. She shut the door so it was just them in the room.
"I can't! What if Anthony isn't the one I'm supposed to be spending the rest of my life with!" Illie said. Tears started forming in her eyes and Gwen found a tissue.
"Oh honey, don't cry! This is natural! It's natural to be nervous," Gwen said, trying to make her feel better. Illianna blew her nose and looked up at Gwen.
"But Leighanne wasn't nervous when she went to marry Brian. And you aren't nervous about marrying AJ in a couple months," Illie said, now sobbing. Gwen jumped up and hugged her.
"Illie...honey, Anthony loves you and you love him," Gwen said.
"No I don't," Illie cried. Gwen held out her friend in front of her.
"What did you say?!"
"I don't love him! I thought I did...but I don't," Illie cried. There was a knock at the door. Gwen peaked through the blinds to see AJ. She opened the door and let him in.
"Is the beautiful bride ready?" AJ asked. Illie looked up and he saw her crying. "What's wrong?" AJ asked, rushing over to her.
"I don't love him anymore," Illie sobbed in AJ's shoulder. Gwen gave AJ a panicked look.
"Illie, listen to me. You are a beautiful bride and you have a great guy waiting for you to walk down that aisle," AJ said, hoping he was saying the right thing, "It is completely natural to be nervous. I know you love Anthony because I saw the way you have a twinkle in your eyes when you talk about him," AJ said. Illie stopped crying and wiped her eyes.
"Are you sure I can do this?" she asked.
"Positive," Gwen and AJ both said at the same time. She stood up.
"Okay, I'm ready," she said. Gwen and AJ let out a huge sigh of relief and she walked out in the hall where everyone was waiting.
~~at the reception~~
"Here they are ladies and gentlemen, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Wilder!!" Everyone cheered for them as the newlyweds walked into the reception hall. The music started and AJ and Gwen went to dance.
"That was really great what you did today," Gwen said, as they slow danced.
"I've never seen Illie so nervous before," AJ said. "Just promise me you won't think like that before we get married."
"I won't," Gwen said. Gwen wasn't nervous about the actual wedding, she was nervous of what was going to happen there. She knew with Nick and Ashleigh being both in the wedding party, it would upset her parents. She had already had a talk with Ashleigh, begging her not to start anything. AJ's and Gwen's mom had already got in a fight about wedding payments. Denise offered to pay for half of everything but Judi and Dave refused.
"AJ, I'm so afraid everything is going to fall apart," Gwen confessed.
"What do you mean Baby?" AJ asked.
"Our mom's are already at each others throats, Ashleigh and dad still aren't talking, my mom hates my bridesmaid dresses...everything," Gwen said. AJ held her tighter.
"Everything will go beautifully. The only thing that matters is when we say 'I do'...and then our wedding night," AJ joked. Gwen laughed. They danced to the music and Gwen looked over at Illie and Anthony.
"Look at them. I hope we're as happy as they are," Gwen said, pointing over to the newlyweds who were feeding each other cake.
"We already are," AJ said, kissing her neck. "What are our plans this week?" AJ asked, since they had the week off.
"Tomorrow I'm going to the doctor for a check up and to get my blood tested for our marriage certificate," Gwen said.
"Oh remind me I need to make an appointment," AJ said.
"I'll just make one for you tomorrow," Gwen said. AJ smiled.
"Sounds good."
