"Pills"
-  by Missy
Every morning I wake up, a dozen pills beside my cup
Bupap pills, friendly fellows, make my head so fine and mellow Vistaril to calm me down, turn on the smile, turn off the frown Allegra, pretty, white and tan, keeps dust mites and pollen banned I take preventil, it helps me breathe, makes me quite a bitch I believe Effexor, fat orange pills to keep me from the things that kill Lovely Xanax pretty and blue, to keep my nerves sure and true Albuterol, an inhaler keeps me breathing without failure Ambian to help me sleep, I’m better off counting sheep Geodon, to keep me sane, ease my troubles, ease my pain
I hate my meds, with fierce abhorrence
