Happy
Valentine Birthday, Pat. You
know what they say about "blood being thicker than water."
Our lives took different paths, our interests have been different;
we were simply different from the time
we were born. We didn't even look alike ~ you look like Daddy's
side; I look like Mother's.
But, underneath it all, we are also so much alike in so many ways,
and we seem to understand
each other more as we grow older. I didn't say "old,"
just older.
Your
sons, Tommy (and Patti) and Andy (and Mary Jo), your
grandchildren, Brooke (and Danny),
Teddy (and Brenna), Jennifer (and Chad), Tommy, Jr., Benny,
Jonathan and Trevor and
your great-grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, McKenzie, Braydon and
Jacob
all are close and dear to me.
I will always love you !!!

You
know as well as I do the value of a sisters' affections to each
other;
there is nothing like it in this world.

Like branches on a tree, we grow in
different directions yet our roots remain as one.
Each of our lives will always be a special part of the other.

Sisters
As sisters, our hearts are
intertwined
in a history of shared memories.
We lived the same childhood,
broke many of the same rules,
and learned lessons from one another
and from life.
Because of this, you understand not
only where I've come from,
but who I really am.
As sisters, we each have chosen our own
path in life. Yet our paths inevitably
converge again and again as time goes by,
for they never lose sight of their origin.
Over the years, we've talked and laughed,
listened and cried, supported and
understood in ways no one else could.
Even when we don't see eye to eye,
I know you only want the best for me ~
just as I do for you.
No matter what else happens in my life ~
no matter how many times I change
direction or make mistakes ~ I know
you will always be there for me.
Your love is very special. It centers me and
takes me back. It challenges me and
leads me forward. I'm so glad that we
will always be sisters and friends.

Friends come and slowly die like a fire in
the night,
but the love and friendship of a sister will always glow bright.
Being Sisters
Being sisters means sharing a lot of things throughout life...
Being
sisters means knowing certain things about each other
and feeling special feelings for one another.
It is a relationship we have seen change with time,
and yet, in many ways, it remains the same.
I
know there have been times when being sisters wasn't easy,
because our differences pulled us in new directions.
But we always knew that we cared about one another.
That's the beautiful part of being sisters.
Even though life is full of changes, we will always have each
other,
and we will always share a special bond of love.
