Spring Is Here
(Playing ~ "Great Is
the Lord")
~ words below ~
"For, lo, the Winter is past,
the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing
of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land."
~ Song of Solomon 2:11-12
Don't you just love to see Spring's
arrival each year !! Even if old man Winter
continues to show his face for awhile, Spring brings hope:
the hope of bright,
sunny days, the blooming of beautiful flowers, the
reappearance of leaves on
the trees and bushes, grass growing, a new showing of
dogwood and
weeping cherry trees, Spring breaks, clearer skies and
warmer days
and, most of all, a lifting of our hearts and spirits.
Spring is here ~ welcome !!
Voice Of the Turtle
My beloved spake, and said unto me,
Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of the singing of birds is come,
And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.
My beloved is mine, and I am his:
He feedeth among the lilies.
Until the day break, and the shadows
flee away,
Turn, my beloved, And be thou like a roe or a young hart
Upon the mountains of Bether.
~ Song of Solomon 2:10-12, 16-17
Great Is the Lord
(words to music playing)
Great is the Lord,
He is holy and just;
By His power we trust in His love.
Great is the Lord,
He is faithful and true;
By His mercy He proves He is love.
Great is the Lord and worthy of
glory!
Great is the Lord and worthy of praise.
Great is the Lord; now lift up your voice,
Now lift up your voice:
Great is the Lord!
Great is the Lord!
Great are You, Lord, and worthy
of glory!
Great are You, Lord, and worthy of praise.
Great are You, Lord; I lift up my voice,
I lift up my voice:
Great is the Lord!
Great is the Lord!

Resurrection of Hope
How beautiful are the greening hills
And pastures lying in between.
Wildflowers are blooming everywhere,
And trees put on new leaves of green.
Up over all this varied hue
Lies a canopy of blue.
Spring is a birth time for the world ~
A resurrection of new hope.

Spring
Let's welcome in the new season of
Spring,
Let the Robins' song throughout the air ring.
We begin to plant in our gardens and pray
That the last winter's freeze be gone today.
God, please protect our leaves of green
As you let your flowering lilacs be seen.
Please let your warm April showers
Blossom and bloom your beautiful May flowers.
Shew away all those clouds of gray.
Let the sun sprout the seed that we plant today
As colorful rainbows of tulips abound.
All this invites God's beauties of Spring to be found!
