To The Sunset
(Playing ~ "Majesty")

(photograph by my nephew, Tom R. McDaniel)

Oh, to be floating on a cloud in the shell pink sky
Watching the world and its troubles go by;
Up where the sunset is fading from view,
Leaving the heavens in one perfect hue.

A beautiful picture out over the land
As can only be painted by God's holy hand.
Our Master's brush leaves a special glow,
And the colors grow soft as they blend and flow.

Fading into darkness is this matchless sight,
As the world prepares for a glorious night.
Such beauty at once o'er flows my heart !
Oh, wonder !! That of this, God's given me a part.
