Welcome! This is a little place where I will be explaining a few things. At the moment its mainly an action dictionary. A place where I can explain the basic actions of my characters (those who are feline or capable of being so). I hope this helps, and as always I won't list everything (that could take a long while).
Tail:
Flipping tail: A gesture of ‘I could care less.’ Also could portray boredom.
Tail Tap: Waiting for something, also boredom.
Tail Shrug: Center part of tail moving upward similar to the human shoulder raise. Means, ‘I don’t know’.
Flicking Tail: agitated, something is on their mind. If ears are relaxed it could also be a boredom sign.
Twitching Tail: irritation or anxiety. The more the tail moves, the more irritated/anxious they are.
Tail about Paws: Comfortable with surroundings. However, paired with a position in which the body is tightly compacted, could mean fear.
Twitching/Flicking Tail tip: Extreme concentration, used in hunting. The faster the flicking the more into the activity the feline is. A single twitch or two of the tail tip could also be a associated with the mischievious grin a cat tends to get when they are planning something or thinking of something.
Ears:
Relaxed Ears: Pointed more or less forward. It’s a neutral pose that generally means at ease.
Ears Pointed Forward: Interested
Ears to the Sides: Worried (semi-folded). Sad/guilty (laying down to the sides).
Ears Back: Irritation, a warning, frustrated
One Ear Forward, the other Back (generally associated with a tilt of the head): Confusion or similar to the human’s facial expression in which one eyebrow is raised.
Face:
Whiskers Pulled Forward: Feline smile or grin.
Eyes Squinted: Contentment.
Cathern Eyes:
Red- Neutral, the natural color
Dark red- the darker the more upset or hungry. There is a feral look to them if the cathern is hungry.
Dark Crimson- You best hope you never see this. This is extreme for even a cathern. Consider yourself dead.
Light red- High spirits, seen only in the free thinking cathern like Treth or Chehali.
