This is my oldest son, he is 22 yrs old . He is a very special kid, he is Bi-Polar and Mildly Mentally Handicapped. He is amazing even tho he cant read very well he will get on the computer and do amazing things and knows his way around to get games. If he wants something bad enough he would keep at it till he got it right.
The Summer of 2003 he graduated High School and also started going to Special Olympics Games held in our state capital and won 2 gold and 1 bronze in Swimming and also was interviewed for our local paper. In 2006 he was invited to the first ever National Olympic Games held in the USA, in Iowa it was for a week. He went on his first airplane ride and spent the week up there without mom and dad just coaches. He had a blast :) He came home with 3 Silver Medals in Swimming. (he does the Butterfly, Backstoke and Freestyle) We all are very proud of what he has done in his life so far :)
