The project was to create a door from the
office into the garage.
This DIY
project took us two days to complete. We never
contructed a door jam before.
Probably the hardest part was to determine the exact size of the
hole to cut.
We also put additional timber linthels when the house was at
frame stage.
We knew that there was electrical wiring was involved.
We took advantage and created two extra power points and two
additional switches for the garage light.
Additional computer network cables were also laid on the wall
cavity.
The door jam was purchased from Bunnings and the lock was
purchased from Kmart.
