Bright ideas always comes along sometimes even before a project is completed. We often discussed our projects over the white board in the office.

Column Garden under construction

Roofing in progress (in front of living room)

• Purchase and install brighter light for the garage (completed 2/6/01).
• Bagged garage brickwall with a lighter colour to make the garage brighter
• New door with glass installed (3/2002)
• Purchase door from garage to office (6/2001)
• Install door to garage, additional power points for garage, study, additional switches for garage light
• RCA cables from family room to master bedroom (6/2001)
• Garden bed underneath clothline. (6/2001)
• Feature Artwork made of stamps (7/2001)
• Door to garage from the office is to be constructed.(completed 6/2001)
• Completion of web site  (7/2001)
• Activate video RCA cables from family room directly to master bedroom. This will enable us to also watch DVD or record video tapes in the master bedroom. (completed 5/2000). Master bedroom feature wall in columns of green and light green adn decorative wall paper edging. (12/2002)
• Complete rear garden bed just under outdoor cloth lines.   (completed 6/2001)
• Double dragons - purchase two dragon heads and create a long tail and hand it on the ceiling  (7/2001)
• Stamp art - placing stamps close together to make a nice piece of art (7/2001)
• Finger stamping printing - for the family each stamping a different colour print with chinese words of wisdom written on it (7/2001)
• A new family family potrait picture - to be made of many photos. (7/2001)
• Computer hardware art - old computer hardware to be hang on the ceiling (7/2001)
• Feature Decorative clay tortoise flower pot, half flower pots to hang on walls (8/2001)
• Feature tiling from garage to office room. Choose tiles and rent tile cutter.  (completed 8/01)  Photos will be available.
• Water tank - install base; install to drain water from gutter and overflow onto stormwater drain.   Purchase water pump. (completed 9/01)
• Gallery edging/skirtings and architraves with rosettes ands often pointed corner edges (10/2001)
• Office and Dining Room architraves with round rosettes (10/2001)
• Decorative architraves for single lengths pantry, wider lengths for laundry cupboards, double lenghts for WIR and Dylan's room. They are to be painted in darker shadesof green. (completed 10/2001). Replace architraves for pantry, bedroom2, master bedroom and laundry with wider and thick ones. (11/2002) Alternate dual switch for garage light and additional lights - completed 11/2001
• Three tier shelves for master WIR (both sides), two tier shelves for Dylan's BIR and three tier shelves for Joshua's BIR (11/2001). To touch up corner joints. Three tier WIR for guest room. Feature light purple wall and decorative wall paper edging. (12/2002)
• Remove 1 metre width of lawn along the eastern boundary to ease lawn mowing. Plant a row of Kangaroo Paw. Connect sprinkler to Station 6. (completed 11/2001)
• Remove and dig edging of lawn to ease mowing around the front side garden. (completed 12/2001)
• Remove everything from the shed to the garage. Remove MDF flooring. Lift up the shed about 500 high and fill with crush rocks and yellow sand. Remove 9mm small pebbles from the front pathway and filled with new layer of crush rocks. Reframe and installed MDF flooring back. Throw away junk and rearrange the shed nicely. - (completed 12/2001)
• Plastered archway with decorative corbels for the entry to the hallway. A pair of corbels will also be installed. - (completed 11/01)
• Shady pergola fronting the living room. The holes for the posts were dug already. Two full height columns will be erected in this area. To erect Orchid garden tiered shelves as well. (completed 1/2002). To cover up this area with laserlite. (completed 1/2003)
• Move vege garden to clothline area. (completed 12/2002)
• Rebuilt the orchid garden with round pine posts and shade cloth, etc (completed 1/2003).
• Plastered archway with decorative corbels for the entry to the hallway. A pair of corbels will also be installed. (completed 10/01)
• Two half height columns will be erected at the front gates. Bamboo plants to be planted on top of the columns and irrigated with sprinklers. (completed 11/2001)
• Construction of the verandah on the south side. The draft building plans have been drawn already. The verandah will have a metal roof and skylights sheets. It will have a box top round the three columns. An outdoor kitchen will be constructed on the south side. It will be decorated with decorative keystone and light weight edging. (completed 1/2002)
• To purchase 6 BBQ covered burner with side burner for outdoor cooking. (completed 12/2001)
• Decorative shelfs and feature plastering in the Ensuite area. (completed 11/2002)
• Laundry feature walls in shades of blue using a hair comb (completed 1/2003)
• Rip out and replace existing architraves with thicker and wider ones in the kitchen, master bedroom, pantry, bedroom2-4. Move the skirting around the kitchen area higher(completed 11/2002)
• Other project to progress after the completed of my Lotus R5 CLP exams or if our budget permits. (completed 9/2002)
• Master bedroom feature skirting and architraves. (entrance). Master Bedroom Feature Wall (completed 12/2002)
• Cubby house project will be constructed next the playground. (under construction Now Completed 2/2003)
• Feature plastered decorative plastered wall feature for ensuite. (completed 12/2002)
