Tortoise Pave Feature

In terms of feng shui, it is extremely important to have tall plants at the rear of the house.  This provides the residence more protection, support and stability.  The tortoise paver creation was also a feng shui feature as well.

This was constructed by digging some of the clay earth out.  A large heavy roller was used to compact the  layer of crush rocks.  Then a layer of builder's sand was put on top of the crush rock and then levelled.  Then pavers were laid to form a tortoise feature.  Mortar was then used to prevent the pavers from moving.
