More Tabby Cats!
Sammy! What can I say about Sammy? He came into my home, this little furball of energy. Pinging off of everything, just a bundle of joy! What a personality! Sammy now shares his life with his ferret friends! They all play together and Sammy helps put them to bed at night. He is in a wonderful lifetime home. He and Dusty were adopted by college friends who often bring them to one house or the other so they can play together. I was apprehensive about adopting to college students but, these friends have proven me wrong. Sometimes when you place a foster you have niggling doubts. There was no doubt at all that Sammy had found his place!

Dusty & Sammy on a play date! |
Spanky was thrown from a moving car into the middle of the street when she was a kitten. One of my daycare parents was a few cars behind and she stopped to pick Spanky up and brought her to me. A visit to the vet revealed that she had possibly been kicked or struck in the face which had caved her teeth in. Other than that she was healthy. Spanky was a short haired cat when she moved in but, at about a year old she all of a sudden developed this beautiful long hair! The vet didn't believe she was the same cat. I was flipping through a cat magazine one day and there was a pic of Spanky. It was a photo of a Norwegian Forest Cat. I'm sure she's not a purebred but, she's definately got some in her! Spanky is another of our bathroom attendants. Her favorite thing to do is hop on your shoulder while you are drying off after a shower. What is it about wet human bodies that so attracts a cat? I think it's cause they know their hair sticks better to a wet body!
