When you make a donation to ECSD Habitat,you make it possible for a local family to achieve the dream of ownership. Finally, this members of this family will have a decent place to lay their heads at night, a safe place for their children to play, a sanitary bathroom and kitchen with working appliances. Most importantly, this family will have a place in which to plan and build a brighter future.
But the best part is, your gift hasn't ended with this one family. Rather, it's been invested in the community. Habitat partner families are given interest-free mortgages which they repay. This means that your gift will be used again, to help another family. And they will repay it. So it will be used again, to help yet another family, and another, and another.
Your donations to Habitat will never leave the area served by HFHI-ECSD. They will remain here for years and years, continuing to help local families in need of simple, decent, affordable housing.
