The story opens up in the PS 118 class room when Helga is out sick for the day,

Mr. Simmons:"Class I have some very exciting news A transfer student from Canada named Marissa is about to join us in our 4th grade class today! Now everyone say hello to Marissa."

"Hello Marissa" the class mumbled.

Mr. Simmons:"Marissa you may take Helga`s desk for today since she`s out sick but tomorrow we`ll have a new desk of your very own."

Marissa"Thank you."

Phoebe:"Hello Marissa since your new here do you want me to show you around after school."

Marissa:"I would like that very much thanks."

After school,

Phoebe:"And this is the Arcade this is were we usually hang out after school."

The Marissa glances across the street and looks toward Arnold,

Marissa:"Who is that?"

Phoebe:"Who Arnold?"

Marissa:"Yeah Arnold he is very cute and he looks like he is a very nice person could you introduce us please."

Phoebe:"Sure I guess."

They run across the street and greet Arnold.

Phoebe:"Arnold this is Marissa, Marissa this is Arnold."

Arnold:"Hey Marissa."

Marissa:"Hey." then smiles "I do love your hat."

Arnold:"Um thanks."

Phoebe:"We`ll see ya around then." she says noticing Marissa`s infatuation with Arnold. She pulls her hand and leads her away while Marissa is still smiling at batting her eyelashes at Arnold.

Phoebe:"I gotta go now and visit Helga to see how she is doing and give her my thermos full of chicken noodle soup."

Marissa:"Ok bye."

Next day,

"Mr. Simmons:"Class I`m sorry to report that Helga is still sick so were all going to make her get well cards!"

Class sighs,

Mr. Simmons:"And after your done making a card for Helga you can all make a card for whoever you want!"

Later at lunch,

Marissa:"Hey Phoebe."

Phoebe:"Yes Marissa?"

Marissa:"We`ll see I made a card for Arnold....."

Phoebe:"Why Arnold?"

Marissa:"Wait you didn`t let me finish I kinda have a crush on him and this card expresses my feelings and I was wondering could you give it to him for me?"

Phoebe:"But I......"

Marissa:"Please????"

Phoebe:"Fine I will deliver the card for you!"

Later at lunch,

Phoebe was busy thinking,

Phoebe:"Oh no what should I do I mean I know Helga really likes Arnold and she`s my best friend so I can`t betray her and deliver this message and I promised Marissa I would Oh No! what should I do?"

Arnold:"Hey Phoebe."

Phoebe:"Oh Hello Arnold."

Arnold:"What`s the matter?"

Phoebe:"Nothing why would you think anything was the matter for?"

Arnold:"Does it have anything to do with Marissa?"

Phoebe:"We`ll sort off....."

Arnold:"Not to be mean or anything she kinda gives me the creeps and it seems to me she might like me cause she keeps on staring at me!"

Phoebe:"Oh?"

Arnold:"Yeah do you have any clue on how you could get her to only want to be friends with me cause I don`t really know her and I already like Lila.."

Phoebe:"We`ll we could try to get her to like someone else?"

Arnold:"Like who?"

Phoebe glances around the room and spots Sid.

Phoebe:"How about Sid?"

Arnold:"Ok whatever but how are we gonna get her to like him?"

Phoebe:"I have an idea."

Sid:"Marissa?"

Phoebe:"Yeah do you like her?"

Sid:"I guess she`s ok but I don`t really know her."

Phoebe:"We`ll she really likes you!"

Sid:"Really?"

Phoebe:"Oh yeah she says that she thinks you're the cutest and nicest boy she ever met."

Sid:"We`ll she is right about that."said Sid getting a little full of himself. "Maybe me and her would make a good couple after all."

Marissa:"Sid?"

Arnold:"Yeah Sid has a major crush on you and me being his friend I`m afraid we can`t go out."

Marissa:"He likes me that much?"

Arnold:"Yeah he`s totally obsessed with you he told me you're the nicest and most beautiful girl he has ever met."

Marissa:"We`ll cool I think I`m beginning to like him."

Arnold:"That`s great!"

Marissa:"Yeah could you set us up?"

Arnold:"Sure I`ll plan a date out with Sid and he`ll give you a call."

Later a couple hours after school,

Ring, ring, ring.

Marissa:"I`ll get it!"

She races down the stairs and pick ups the phone and says hello

Sid:"Oh hi Marissa."

Marissa:"What`s up?"

Sid:"Eh I`m just chillin. But I was wondering if you were busy Friday night?"

Marissa:"No I`m not busy then you want to go out on our date then?"

Sid:"We`ll yeah."

Marissa:"Were?"

Sid:"Wherever you want to go."

Marissa:"Oh your so sweet Sid."

Sid:"Thanks you are to."

At Helga`s house

Helga:"She was after Arnold!"

Phoebe:"Yeah but I changed her mind now she likes Sid."

Helga:"Thanks Phoebe I owe you one."

Phoebe:"No Problem I`m here to help you after all you're my best friend."

Helga;"Thanks hey Phoebe look at Harold`s card he spelt my name wrong!"

Phoebe:"Boy did he spell it wrong he spelled it with a q instead of an h. he he he he he."

Next Day,

Helga:"Hey football head I heard about Marissa and her crush on you."

Arnold:"Yeah but look at Sid and Marissa together they hold hands they sit by each other. Who would think me and Phoebe got them together sigh.

Helga:"Yeah or it would of been you and Marissa holding hands."

Arnold:"I don`t think so Helga!"

And once Again the day is Saved thanks to Phoebe!
