![]() The Website of David McGuire, Lecturer, Napier University, Edinburgh, ScotlandDavid McGuire is a lecturer in human resource development (HRD) at Napier University, Edinburgh, Scotland. Having graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 1998, with a Bachelor of Corporate Law, he attended University of Limerick, where he attained a Masters of Business Studies in Human Resource Management in December 1999. He worked as a lecturer in Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, for the academic year 1999-2000, teaching Employee Development on the Diploma in Personnel Management course certified by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. He is Assistant National Expert for Ireland on the European Commission funded BENE (Business Education Network of Europe) project. In 2003/2004, he was visiting Fulbright scholar at Oakland University, Michigan. His doctoral dissertation from the University of Limerick is entitled: The Relationship between Individual and Managerial Values and Human Resource Decision-Making: A Comparative Study.
