Eternally Forever and Always

Forever and always.
The words we hear from a lover -
Any loved one.

Do their words hold true?
Can they honestly say such words
Full of love and hope,
Only to dissapear tomorrow
With the western winds?

Are their feelings false?
A sence of lust rather than love,
That drives them to say
Such filling and kind words?

What do we do when our hearts
Are tattered and ripped in two?
Should we continue on
Without any utterance,
Or speak out the pain and hurt?

No one can predict
What will happen tomorrow,
Or the day after.
People are fickle indecisive beings.
Our emotions drag us around on a leash.
Its they way we have been,
And always will be.
