Dare to Dream

I close my eyes and dare to dream
The air is suddenly calm the land is green
Roses gently rise from sleep –
Birds fly happily
Everything dances around me
It is a magical dream
People walk by me-smiling kindly
No hurtful judgements-No hate-No tears
I touch my lips and trace a smile
I touch my heart and the fear once there is
gone
I fill my lungs with air so sweet so pure
And I let go of a scream
I scream for my dream to stay
I scream for my dream to never leave me again
And I wait for answers that never came
Rain starts to pour and wind starts to roar
I scream: When will my dream be real?
Rain washes my face and the little traces of
my dream away
I cry and carried by the wind came a reply
When everybody dares to dream, was the wind unheard
roar
Before my dream faded more and more
