1. Henry Burroughdale

Henry Burroughdale and Hannah Poole were married in the fishing and port village of Whitehaven, Cumberland, England. They settled in Canada as seinors, in the 1820s, with their son and grandchildren. Hannah Poole was among the earliest burials
in the Jackson Cemetery. A grandson John married Olive Odell and farmed in Lacolle. Another grandson, Henry, was a cabnet maker by trade. Grandaughters Mary and Margaret Burroughdale lived and owned property together in Lacolle by 1850.
