2. Matthew Dickinson

Matthew came to LaColle with his parents when he was just 5 years old. In about 1880 Mathew owned portions of lots 66 and 67 on the 5th concession south of domain, LaColle. His 108 acres was worth $2,500.. Although Matthew's P.O. address
in 1880 was Champlain, N.Y., he officially became a citizen of the U.S. on 16 Oct., 1888.
