When the name Satan is mentioned, evil and darkness and fear tend to come to mind. What often happens is that people think of Satan as having a negative connotation, when in reality he is multi-dimensional, with many layers, nearly all of which are good. People tend not to realize that the effects of being a follower of Satan can actually be positive and help increase a person's self worth and ability to work well in groups.
One very beneficial effect of worshiping Satan is that he is a team player. He encourages people to think as a whole, to feed off of each other, and always do their best. When he is most active in group work, he will involve every member, and use their own personal skills for the benefit of the team. He will also encourage his team members with a slap on the back to let them know he is on their side. Adopting this trait of Satan's will help to make people feel good about themselves as they help to make other people see how much they are worth.
Satan can most often be found referring to the group that he is in as a team. This causes the group to lose some of the underlying negativity that comes with the actual word "group". Phrases like hard work, dedication of time and resources, and rushed deadlines are often associated with "group." In choosing to follow this frame of mind that one's group is truly a team working through everything together, a willingness to give surfaces. "Team" tends to make one think of cohesion, dependability, and most important, victory. Here Satan has taken advantage of the sports crazy USA, where teams are people coming together symbolizes the ever present need to win.
Encouraging and willing, it is easy to see that Satan is a true leader. He knows the importance of keeping a group's energy level high, so that they will perform at the highest level possible. This causes him to take initiative and move the group closer together and closer to their goals, the effects of which are far from negative. In fact, the members of groups who work with Satan have been so impressed with his leadership skills that they have dubbed him their most valuable member. Any person who chooses a role model would be extremely fortunate to find that their role model holds this characteristic.
The best benefit that comes from following the ways of Satan may lie in his unending determination to accomplish his goals. He always goes for the goal, having figured out that only from this can one truly become the best member possible in a group. He is not afraid to ask for the assistance of other members in the group. In fact, he is almost entirely dependent on his group to "score" a goal for he knows it cannot be done alone. He also knows that any goal can be attained, no matter the situation. It may take time, or need to be adjusted, but eventually, it will get done.
Being a follower of Miroslav Satan, left/right wing for the Buffalo Sabres, is far from being "bad." He is ready, willing, and able to deal with anything that is slid at him. Using his ways as a guideline for your own causes you no harm. You're likely to find that the only negative effect is when you tell someone you hold Satan as a role model and they think you're nuts.
