This is the last photo I took of Hoss. He was overseeing the rescue/recovery effort of the crashed Air America C-46 N1386N two days before he was killed. The boxes at his feet were safe hands packages recovered from the crash. (Copyright Thomas E. Lee 1968, 1999-2004)
