The Xe Bang Hiang is about 500 feet wide here. It is a slow moving river flowing west to the Mekong River. The crash site is annotated. Hoss was putting in strikes by NKP A1s (Callsign HOBO) upriver about where it turns south. The HOBOs were still hosing down that area when we arrived about an hour later aboard a CASI Beech Baron, callsign 62G. (Copyright Thomas E. Lee 1968, 1999-2004)
