Wayne Landen was the first of the Air Commando AOC commanders after Colonels Tyrrell and Aderholt cut the deal to supply 1 SOW TDY cadre to each AOC. Wayne was on station when Hoss was lost. This photo was taken at his farewell party in the Air America/CASI hanger at L39. Wayne is the gent with the hat and beer. His replacement is on his left, Karl Leuchsner.
