Cocoa Bean (a.k.a. Cocoa Beaner Doodle Dogger)

Cocoa Bean is Vicky's baby.  Cocoa is a 4 1/2 year-old German Shorthaired Pointer/Chocolate Lab mix.  She's very intelligent and energetic.  She's also an obsessive compulsive ball-fetcher (you can see her prized blue ball in her mouth in the upper right hand picture).  Mack gives her exercise by hitting a tennis ball up the dead-end road by our house with a raquet;  she brings it back every time!

Boo (a.k.a. Buddy, Buddy-Boo, Goof-Ball)

Boo is our oldest kid (Mack's baby).  He was born in April, 1990 and was originally given to Mack's brother as a birthday gift.  Boo eventually ended up as Mack's lil' buddy.  He's a black, short-haired, domestic puddy tat.  He's not much different from when he was a year old.  Boo enjoys eating tuna, and sniffing leather shoes and used fabric softener sheets.  He's also a catnip junky.  Maybe I'll give him a leather shoe stuffed with catnip-laden used fabric softener sheets for his next birthday.

Baxter (a.k.a. Bassy-Wassy-Waster)

Baxter was (see Molly below) the baby in the family.  He's a cream long-haired tabby, but we like to think of him as a blonde.  Vicky gave Baxter to Mack as a 1 year dating anniversary gift back in August, 1998.  He's not too bright (after all, he is a blonde) and is a rather hefty feline.  Bassy thinks he's a dog but he coo's like a pigeon.  Notice the picture on the upper right; is that twinkle in his eyes a tell-tale sign of deep introspection?  pondering the meaning of life?  perhaps deriving complex mathematical relations?!
Nope.  It's just the reflection of the camera flash in the startled eyes of a kitty who was busy taste-testing a Kodak Advantix film roll.  Did I mention he isn't very bright?  But damn...ain't he cute!!

Molly (a.k.a. Molly-Bo-Bolly, Molly McButter)

Molly is the new baby in the family! We fostered Molly, her mother, and her four siblings and fell in love with her. She's a medium haired grey tabby with some brown accents, and as you can see, she has beautiful coloration and patterns in her face. She seems to be the most agile of the cats, but she's still too small to jump onto the counter (darn!). Although she seems smarter than Bassy (nothing to brag about), she doesn't seem as bright as good ole' Buddy Boo.
