Happy Holidays from the Kenamonds

  • Lydia is now 7 and in the second grade. This fall she joined the Aquatomics Swim Team and began taking piano lessons, both of which she is enjoying very much. She has also started attending the Episcopal church, where she has joined the children’s choir and is practicing for her part (Angel #1) in the Christmas pageant.
  • Kyle started Kindergarten in the fall and is doing a really great job. His favorite "subject", however, is still: recess! He played soccer in the fall and is looking forward to the spring season when they will play “real games”. He's also showing wicked talent on the drums in "Rock Band 2."
  • Vicky is working part-time at a local elementary school as attendance clerk and still doing some decorating/staging on the side. She hopes to qualify for her Internship Teaching Certification within the next few months so that this combined with her library degree will qualify her to apply for elementary librarian positions in the fall. (The rest of her time is spent "Facebook-ing."--Mack)
  • Mack is planning another fishing trip to Canada in the spring. He has recently been named (against his better judgement) Project Manager of his long-running code development project that tests nuclear weapons designs.

In addition to taking several trips this year, we were delighted to have the opportunity to visit with all of the Kenamonds and Kings while visiting WV/PA over Thanksgiving. We've included pictures of various 2009 occasions below, which, depending on your web connection, may still be loading :-)

Love to all, Vicky, Mack, Lydia & Kyle Kenamond
