Early Christmas Present Opening Session
December 21, 2001

Since we were heading out to St. Louis in the morning, Vicky and I decided to open our presents to each other this fine eve. Before digging into the presents we decided to get a picture of Vicky with the gifts and nicely decorated tree. After taking our pictures, Vicky and I were alarmed to find that there was some creature moving in our tree!

After building her courage, Vicky investigated further. It was the rare and elusive Mollius McButterus!! This just wouldn't do, so Vicky decided to try to extract her from the artificial branches even though Molly was charging her plasma eye blasters.

With Molly successfully extracted from the tree, we commenced with the present-opening.

I didn't ask for a fishing tacklebox did I?!
Oh!!! It's an art supply box!!!
Hmmm...What could this be...
Wow!! A Chocolate Orange!!
I bet I know what this one is!!
My oh my what could it be?!!
Yay!! My locket!!
Something to paint on!!
This is Vicky's favorite ornament, by the way.
And we got another ornament from our friends, the Booms
Boo looks good in my wonderful new sweater! Thanks Mom & Dad!
Oh my GARSH!! A NEW NORELCO!!! With ALL the bells and whistles!!!
Vicky showing off our biggest gift. She wrapped it herself! But we can't open this one until March.
Lots of presents!!!
