that's when "smart" can't be found.
Sometimes it's through my loved ones,
sometimes it's through my friends,
sometimes, Lord, it's through this old world
and the circumstances I'm in.

When I think I'm big, think I'm tall,
think I'm smart, that's when I fall.
So keep me rooted and grounded in you, Lord,
and, please, just bring me on down.

Lord, I want a smile on my face forever,
don't want to be wearin' a frown.
I want my life full of jubilation.
I want my life full of exultation.
So keep both my feet firmly planted
on the Rock of my Salvation.

I can see I'll never get lifted up, Lord,
