My wonderful sister and best friend,
Doris Jamison,
has written a lovely Christmas poem
that I would like to share with you.

THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS

O navy blue night, so still and so quiet
With sparkling bright stars in the sky,
And only wisps of fluffy light clouds
Silently floating on by.

O joy in my heart to have this small part;
My soul joins the Angels now singing
Of the glorious birth of my Savior to Earth,
With praise now the Heavens are ringing.

O trees lift your arms in praise and in alms
And worship this Savior come down.
Dance crisp winter air with frosty cold hair,
Salvation’s in Bethlehem’s town.

O Cross on the hill, keep silent, keep still,
For you will hold Jesus tomorrow.
He came through a plan, The Redemption of Man,
His body will bear all our sorrows.

O Holy Young Boy, my heart leaps with joy;
God sent, You’ve been born to a manger.
Because of Your birth no longer on Earth
Our soul to our God is a stranger.
