In Loving Memory of
Michael A. Jones
July 21,1966 - June 6, 2000

Beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson and nephew.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord. Job 1: 21 (NAS)

To our great sorrow you were killed in a head-on collision in the dark of night. The tragedy was compounded as the man driving the other vehicle was killed also. Two lives lost. Two souls carried to Heaven together by the Angel of the Lord.

Mom's Note To Your Friends

In Memory of
Michael A. Jones
Caring Son, Brother & Uncle

Mike, I am so proud of your life accomplishments. You owned your own home, had your own business and controlled your own destiny. You cared for each customer like a family member. In this materialistic society, you cared about people and not things. Our hearts go out to the Casas family, they should know that my brother was a hardworking man and a generous man who genuinely cared about people. He could not have lived with the devastation he has caused In your lives.

Your loving brother,
Mark

BEYOND THE SUNSET

Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning,
When with our Savior heav'n is begun;
Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning,
Beyond the sunset, when day is done.

Beyond the sunset no clouds will gather,
No storms will threaten, no fears annoy;
O day of gladness, O day unending,
Beyond the sunset, eternal joy!

Beyond the sunset a hand will guide me
To God, the Father, whom I adore;
His glorious presence, His words of welcome,
Will be my portion on that fair shore.

Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion,
With our dear loved ones who've gone before;
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting,
Beyond the sunset forevermore!

Mike, we miss you so much. We have many precious memories of you, one of which is when you walked down the aisle during a revival when you were a boy, stopping by first to tell your Granny, "Granny, I have to go down there. I have asked Jesus to come into my heart." We all know you are resting in the arms of Jesus, waiting until we can meet you there for a glad reunion. All of your family love you dearly. We miss your beautiful blue eyes shining, your bashful smile, and your precious, sweet, loving personality. We will always keep you in our hearts, and one day we will join you for a wonderful reunion.

2nd Samuel 12:23 "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me."

FROM A LOVED ONE IN HEAVEN

I would not have you grieve for me today
nor weep beside my vacant chair.
Could you but know my daily portion here,
you would not, could not, wish me there.

I know now why He said "Ear hath not heard."
I have no words, no alphabet.
Or even if I had, I dare not tell
because you could not bear it yet.

So only this...I am the same, though changed,
like Him! A joy more rich and strong
than I had dreamed that any heart could hold,
and all my life is one glad song.

Sometimes when you are talking to our Lord
He turns and speaks to me. Dear heart,
in that rare moment you and I are just
the distance of a word apart.

And so, my loved ones, do not grieve for me
around the family table today;
instead rejoice, for we are one in Him
And so I am not far away.

IF YOU COULD SEE ME NOW
by Kim Noblitt

Our prayers have all been answered I finally arrived.
The healing that had been delayed has now been realized.
No one's in a hurry, there's no schedule to keep.
We're all enjoying Jesus, just sitting at His feet.

My light and temporary trials have worked out for my good;
To know it brought Him glory when I misunderstood.
Though we've had our sorrows they can never compare.
What Jesus has in store for us no language can share.

If you could see me now, I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now, I'm standing tall and whole!
If you could see me now, you'd know I've seen his face.
If you could see me now, you'd know the pain is erased.

You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place,
If you could see me now.
