Hope and Assurance
We tried to find a salvation plan pamphlet that is very easy to understand, as brief as possible, and yet complete, since most of the nursing home friends to whom we witness are in various degrees of dementia. After much searching without success we decided to write the pamphlet you see below. We believe it provides an easy to understand roadmap, for those who are able and willing, with an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. Furthermore, it affords those who have already experienced biblical salvation a greater sense of security and divine assurance during their various states of illness and depression.
Over 2000 Bible prophecies have been fulfilled with 100% accuracy
thus far, and no one has proven any part of the Bible's original
text to be wrong; so you can believe 1 John 5: 13 when it
says..."I write you this so that you may know that you have
eternal life - you who believe in the Son of God."
The Bible says that you are accountable for the sins in your life -
"There is no one righteous, not even one" (Romans 3: 10). Since God is
righteous, He cannot have fellowship with anyone who violates His
righteous character. To God even a bad thought or not helping a needy
person is a sin and one sin in your life is one too many for God. Sin
came between God and man, and "the wages of sin is death and hell"
(Romans 6: 23). God solved the sin problem by sending His Son to live a
perfect life. Jesus took your sins by dying a cruel death, and then God
broke the barrier of death by resurrecting Jesus on the third day. So on
Easter, or on any other day, we can say, "He is alive! He is not dead!"
