A note of encouragement, a note of love
A note to remember the Father above
Has His hand upon you, naught can befall
That He wouldn't know it, for He knows it all.
He seeks to draw from us our very best
Whatever we're lacking, He adds the rest.
God, the Creator, oversees His own plan.
His mystery's greater than knowledge of man
He gave nature rhythm, a circular plan,
Bestowed by the Father, witnessed by man.
The greatest that flows forever is love,
Love for each other and love from Above.
Springtime is coming, life will turn green,
Summer will follow, sunshine will gleam,
Fall in its bountiful beauty of leaves,
Winter's withdrawal in quietness and peace.
Through every moment, each day, through the night,
His children are held in His power and might.
From the moment He births us into this life
He knows that we will have joy and strife.
His hand never leaves us, He covers our head,
He shelters and leads us, He feeds us our bread.
And we reach out and touch Him whenever we please,
By seeking and praising Him down on our knees.
Dear God, how You love us. Help us to learn
Your love is forever and that we can turn
To Your loving arms and lean on your breast
When life is so hard that we need to find rest.
Help us to see that the rhythm You've given
Leads directly to You and our home in Your Heaven.
When life here on Earth's complete to Your plan,
We'll sit at Your feet in that Wonderful Land.
