Psalm 17:3; Psalm 37:4 & 30;
Psalm 40:1-5; Psalm 119: 11 & 105
Words can open communication.
Words can soothe and heal.
Words can be used to do battle.
Words can bruise and kill.
Words can charm or encourage.
Words can help build or destroy.
Words can be used for instruction.
Words express love and great joy.
Words can reveal the heart’s contents.
Words can excite or demand.
Words can, carefully spoken,
Change the direction of plans.
Words can be sweet or bitter.
Words can be tart or bland.
But words filled with worship and praises,
Bring blessings from God’s own hand.

Let the words of my mouth and the
meditation of my heart be acceptable
in Your sight, oh Lord, my Strength
and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19: 14 (NKJ)
“But I say to you that for every idle
word men may speak, they will give
account of it in the day of judgment.
For by your words you will be justified,
and by your words you will be condemned.”
Matt. 12: 36-37 (NKJ)
