This may be my BEST recipe ever. It is especially nice during the cold wintry months when the smell of fresh oranges is especially welcomed.

Castro Veranda Steak

Pick up a tender five-pound roast of beef. Place it in a glass bowl and stick it all over with a big serving-style fork.

Make a marinade of 1 gallon orange juice, 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, 2 cloves garlic, minced, ½ teaspoon oregano, 1 lime, juiced, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper, and a couple shakes of sea salt. Mix the marinade and pour it over the roast. Place plastic wrap over the bowl and let stand in refrigerator for at least a couple hours.

Drain off marinade and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
