Oysters Rockefeller

Two weeks ago I had an unjust craving for canned spinach. I haven't had it in 5 years, just fresh spinach salads. Give me POPEYE food. Give me oysters Rockefeller!

1 TB olive oil

2 garlic gloves, minced

10-oz pakg frozen chopped spinach, thaw and squeeze very dry

¼ cup cream cheese

¼ cup half and half

dash nutmeg

1 pint shelled oysters, drained, rinsed and patted dry

¼ c parmesan cheese

hot pepper sauce

Preheat oven to 400.

Saute garlic in oil until soft, add spinach, cream cheese and half and half.Saute' stirring until blended, about 5 minutes.

Spread spinach mixture over bottom of 10" pie pan. Top with oysters, sprinkle with cheese and hot sauce. Bake for 15 minutes. Broil to brown.
