Her sister, Who we had in our club, just recently Moved to Las Vegas with her raisers. We also just got a female Golden 3mo., We also just got news that we are getting a Female Golden lab cross, who should be here shortly. We Raise for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Guide Dogs is a nonprofit, charitable organization which provides Guide Dogs and training in their use to visually impaired people throughout the United States and Canada. We, as Puppy raisers, take these dogs at 8 weeks of age and mold them into a dog that can be TRAINED to lead a blind person. We take these dogs and teach then the basic commands, sit, down, stay, etc., and we also socialize them in public places to get them use to every day life of a human. We then turn them over to a Guide Dog campus, either in California or Oregon, and they then teach them how to lead a blind person safely. If you would like more information go to Guide Dogs for the Blind's Web site.
