Hal jokes that he spent six hours on the phone with the IKEA technical service department. He exclaims, "Can I speak to someone who isn't Swedish?!" He then proceeds to describe how he has become trapped inside the item he is attempting to assemble, and explains that he "can't reach the Allen wrench from here."
On April 11, 2002 at the GLAAD awards in Los Angeles, Will McCormack and Sean Hayes accepted the award for Best Comedy Series (Will and Grace) from Peter Paige (Queer As Folk) and Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond). This was the fourth consecutive win for the show.
