Hi I'm Madison Reese

Here's my story...

I was born on July 6, 2000 at 1:51 at Halifax Medical Center to My Mommy and Daddy- Mike and Misty Reese. I weighed in at 7 pounds and 2 ounces. and I was 20 inches long. Grandma was there and so was Pappa and Nana Pridgen and everyone was so excited to see me!

Life as first was relativly easy. I slept a lot and ate a lot and pooped a lot. I did get an infection a couple days after I came home from the hostpital, and I was jaundice with a high fever- so I came back to the hospital for a few days where they kept me in a special box until I was all better.

Mommy and Daddy thought I was just the cutiest little girl in the world. They noticed right away that I had Daddy's nose and Mommy's ears. My hands and feet were so tiny. But I sure grew fast!

-At around 1 month old I smiled for the first time and laughed on October 8th at 3 months old. I could sit up at 4 months old and roll over at 6 months. My first words were Dada and That at around 5 months old. My first food was pears and Mommy saved the label of the jar in my baby book so I could look at it when I'm big. I loved to clap my hands and play Pat-a-Cake at 8 months and wave bye-bye at 9 months. I walked across the living room all by myself on July 17, 2001. Just over a year old.

-I haven't stopped and nothing slows me down! I love to dance to the music in TV commercials and I never let go of my little stuffed Teletubbies. I eat like a big girl but my favorite food is definately raisins.

-At 18 months, I can say a lot of words like kitty-cat, truck, doggy and many more. And I am starting to make sentences like "where is it?" I love discover everything and make a big mess and gues what- I found out I'm going to be a big sister!

-At 2 years old I never stop amazing everybody. I am starting to reconize all the letters and numbers. My favorite song is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and I try to sing along. One of my fovorite things to do are watch Teletubbies and I never go anywhere without one or two in tow.

-At 3 years old I am really growing up fast. Becoming a big sister was difficult. But now I work hard to help Mommy and Daddy out, and I just love my new little sister. I always try to make her laugh and smile and I love to play with her. I can sing lots of songs. I know all the shapes and colors. I am very smart and I know the letters alphabet and numbers by sight and sound. I just learned how to potty all by myself and everyone is so proud!
