Our rating system is based on a five-star system. Our review of movies will result in a rating for each movie in which they can attain up to five stars, five being the highest and none being the lowest. Hello everyone! This week we are going to talk about Dual-Layer dvd's. What exactly are these things anyway? Well, if a dvd is dual-layered that means that there are two layers of data, so the dvd can hold more information. Also, longer movies can use up more information for better quality. Sometimes when a dvd is dual layered there is a pause in the movie when it goes from one layer to another. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes no. Well, how do you know if you have a dual-layered dvd? On the back and bottom of the box it will usually say there, and it will tell you that there might be a slight pause when moving between layers.
