Thank you Mama

With selfless devotion
You nurtured me each day,
comforted me when I was sad,
nursed me when I was sick-
Thank you Mama.

With loving care,
you raised me to be
strong, independent, capable,
compassionate and loving-
Thank you Mama.

For the sacrifices 
you made so I could have
an education,
clothes, shoes, medicine-
Thank you Mama.

For the hours you
spent cooking, sewing,
cleaning... but
most of all for the
unconditional love
you gave-
Thank you Mama.
