Super Smash Bros.

Melee

DISCLAIMER:
Please read this before proceeding. If this is not read, you could either get confused and over excited, or think that I'm retarded........I don't really want either of those happening. All information is false (as far as I'm concerned) and all pictures on this site are fake. (obviously) Although it's all fake, everything will be told as if it really were real.

TOAD

To get Toad, you must have all the secret messages. The last one you should get should be the "you've played 1 million vs. matches" one. Hal put this character in, because they knew that if someone was crazy enough to get that last message, or played the game long enough, they must be getting pretty bored of the game, so they are rewarded with TOAD. There are two reasons why he's the perfect last character inserted into MELEE.

Once you obtain Toad, his select screen image goes into the bottom right, where a random selector previously was. Automatically, a Ditto/Random selector box(from tournaments I believe) will go down in the bottom left by Pichu and the other Pokemon. (starting to make sense now, huh?)
Stats:
Running Speed Attack Speed Falling Speed Weight Jump Strength Throw
A++ The Fastest in the game! A B D Very very light. Easily knocked off B C C
Standard Attacks:
All of Toad's standard attacks are cloned off of Peach. He uses a bunch of slapping attacks and such. I know of two attacks that are different than that of Peach's. One is Toad's smash forward A attack. Instead of the Frying pan, Golf club, and Tennis Racket, Toad uses a sceptor.(looks like the sceptors the Koopa kids stole in Super Mario Bros. 3) It doesn't shoot projectiles or anything, it's just swung at the opponent. The other attack is explained below in the special attacks section.
Special Attacks:

Neutral B - Deflect: Toad stands straight up and flashes
for a second. If he is hit while flashing, He'll release
spores back at the opponent that do twice the damage.

Smash B - Toad Bomber: Toad lunges himself forward
and if it connects, it creates an explosion on the opponent.
It's a lot faster and easier to connect than Peaches, but it
doesn't do as much damage.

Down B - Turnip Pull: Toad pulls a Turnip out of the ground which can be hurled at your opponents.
The animation of Toad pulling the vegetable out is so fast that if you blink once you'll miss it. It's also weaker than Peaches.

Up B - Mushroom Parachute: This attack is also different than Peaches. Toad has never used a parasol before so Nintendo put in something somewhat original. I remember in the cartoon, the Mushroom people had parachutes.....well the rescue squads anyways. Anyways it works similar to Peach. It opens automatically and, like a real parachuter, the force exerts Toad upward, and he can slowly drift back.
