Clearing
area and leveling - August 2001
Mike
went back and forth with a borrowed leveling blade on the back
of the tractor. This is the area leveled out, and it shows we
have already got started with the concrete piers.
Digging
12" holes for the concrete - September 2001
Rufus
was very curious about the auger and the holes...but you'll be
glad to hear, this is as close as he got.

Pouring
Concrete for the piers - September 2001
First
forms for the shed roof support. These are a little
customized, just for fun.
Forms
for the sawmill support used a 6" auger.
Just
to give a little perspective. This photo shows where the
sawmill shed is in relation to our camp fire. Well there'll be
lots of wood to burn right?
Putting
up the piers - September 2001
Leveling the
sawmill track on the inner-footings.
Cutting the
posts. Incidentally - all of these posts were from trees we
cut on our land, and were made using the sawmill...of course.
