My 1968 Road Runner
I purchased this 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner in April 1997 from the original owner who had been using it as a "shelf" inside his business.It had been sitting up since 1971.
Prior to this,he had used it as a race car.
It took some doing to persuade him to part with it after all those years.
It was a 383 4 speed, "numbers matching" car.
This was my first car to restore.
I sold this car in December 2001 and bought it back in March 2004.
Due to unforseen circumstances, I sold it again December 2004.
I have been told this car is now in Florida.
Maybe one day I will have the opportunity to buy it back.
