Scorpio is the sign of the zodiac which just oozes energy. When they are able to learn to harness this energy, Scorpios can become very driven people, however, without that ability they can become very destructive. As Scorpio covers the period of middle Autumn and the sowing season, it is often seen as the sign of re-generation. MYTHS AND LEGENDS Scorpio has often been associated with regeneration, destruction and death, as each of this implies that the other one must exist too. According to Greek mythology, Artemis, the twin sister of Apollo, sent a scoripion to destroy Orion, the hunter, as he had tried to rape her. The scorpion suceeded in killing Orion, and in doing so was transformed into one of the constellations, as was Orion. As a result of this conflict Orion can be seen fleeing to the west as Scorpio rises in the east. THE LIFE OF A SCORPIO Scorpios are probably the most egnimatic of the star signs, you just never know what you are going to get from then next. They can be determined and leave you breathless with there energy levels, but can also be destructive and over indulgent. This very much an intense and curious star sign full of passion and impulsiveness HEALTH Scorpios need to take control of their health as much as they control all other areas of there life. They need to be wary of over-indulgance with food, which can lead to weight illnesses. Any exercies needs to be steady and controlled, and Scorpios need to resist the urge to have sudden burst of mad activity LOVE, SEX AND PARTNERSHIPS As a water sign Scorpios are renowned for having very intense emotional feelings and this can lead to excessive jealousy. Scorpions can often stay in arelationship for a long time before they realise that the relationship is not going to work. When a Scorpio does find the right person they are amazing lovers and great companionsas they tend to channel all their energies into the relationship. The biggest downside to a Scorpio in love is there tendancy to secrecy, and it can often take a while to trust them fully. CAREER Scorpios need to be in charge, especially within creative areas. As a result you can often find Scorpios being self employed or any other area were they fill that they have fulfilled a purpose.
