Well the results came in:
Michael Ignatieff
Bob Rae
Stephane Dion
Gerrard Kennedy
Ken Dryden
Ken Dryden surprisingly stayed for the second ballot and didn't fare much better. He walked over to Bob Rae and gave Bob his support.
Gerrard Kennedy being in a clear 4th place but with a higher percentage of votes than in the first ballot walked over to Stephane Dion and gave Stephane support. So with Gerrard's support he puts Stephane in the lead. But everything really depends on how many of Gerrard's supporters follow him to Dion's camp and how many of Ken's supporters follow him in to Rae's camp in the third ballot.
The third ballot will probably be the deciding vote. I don't know if Stephane can win an election if he's the Liberal leader. I'm not a fan of Michael Ignatieff. Has Bob Rae learned his Ontario lessons as Premier? Maybe Stephane can bring us the new blood and lack of Liberal scandal stench. I was really hoping that Gerrard would have got enough votes to at least bypass Stephane so that Gerrard would be on the third ballot.
