Pagan Parents
---
114 of the 302 Pagans in Iowa who have taken the census have children under the age of 18, 52 of these Pagans in Iowa have children under 18 who consider themselves Pagan (Which seems to be, to some extent, a matter or age, as very few people have young children who self-identify as Pagan, but many Pagans with teenage children have children who do), 34 Pagans in a relationship with another Pagan have children who identify as Pagan (53 have children), and 45 Pagans in relationships with non-Pagans have children (14 of whom have children which identify themselves as
Pagans), 20 Iowa Pagans who are not currently in a relationship have
children under the age of 18 (5 of whom have kids that identify as Pagans).
There are four Pagan parents in relationships with both a Pagan and a
non-Pagan, which is why the the numbers of people in relationships
with Pagans, people in relationships with non-Pagans, and people not
in a relationship that have children adds up to 118 instead of 114,
which is the total number of Pagan parents documented so far in Iowa.

*NOTE* A disproportionate number of Pagans from Eastern Iowa may be represented, as I live in Linn County in Eastern Iowa. At this time, I know 243 Pagans in my area and 52 have filled out the census thus far.
