Welcome to the Freshmen Masters web page! The Freshmen Masters is a 72 hole golf tournament held at four area courses. See below for 1st round scores and recaps. Participating are Walnut Ridge freshmen Todd Kuntz, Nate Lear, Keith Dyball, Scott, Bryan Lentz, Paul Nemmers, and Benjamin Jeffrey Rasanen.

Notes From Todd & Bryan
After 18 holes, for most participants, Nate Lear grabs a commanding 2 stroke lead with an 86. Todd Kuntz holds 2nd with an 88 and Bryan Lentz is 3rd with a 91. After the first nine, Nate Lear barely held off Bryan Lentz(42) with a 41. Keith Dyball and Paul Nemmers quit after nine due to HORRENDOUS play. Even with the benefit of profuse cheating they both finished in the bottom 3 (just joking of course!). During the back nine, the pressure of a fivesome propelled Todd Kuntz to a back nine best of 43. Nate Lear played well inconsistently but still held of the charging thunder of Kuntz. Meanwhile, Scott Syndergaard snuck back into contention with a 48 placing him only 8 back of the lead. Bryan Lentz forgot his golf glove which in turn gave him a 49 worst score on the back, falling 5 back of the lead. The winner of the 72 hole event will win the pot of $35( good lord that's a lot of money)
