Well, it worked, and it's funny, and I am a regular visitor there. Sharkey is the man, read about his little adventure with super soakers and the captain of the police force here.
Solosier: Another site like hongx.net and BadAssMoFo (i.e. bunch of news posts every day to keep it interesting.) Pretty cool sometimes, they seem to find out about things faster than I do, so I go there a lot too.
