MY TRIBUTE TO JOHN:A POEM.
It was 20 years ago today
You left the world while everyone prayed
Signing the autograph that screamed bloody murder
When Yoko saw you get shot down,it really hurt her
The Working Class Hero that no one could forget
The time when you and the world first met
You wanted to imagine the world in peace
Yet, in time there's no sights to put or mind at ease
To you,dear John on this day
To remember the price you had to pay
To sign one last autograph,from the bottom of your heart
And that was the day he took you from us
And the world came apart.
